A marketing email many of us got today announces that O’Reilly is offering versions of their ebooks for about every platform. Including the iPad.
In the email, there was also mention of a discount program they are offering right now – buy one get one free. Looks cool, we have used their programming manuals for some time, now they have a large variety of other ebooks too.
The overall listing of ebooks and video is here. Of course, the first question is, are these books going to show up in the iBooks app? O’Reilly has a page explaining how they used the ePub standard so they will in fact be in your library. Pretty handy way to have a lot of reference materials for offline reading, you aren’t always be able to access online resources.
