Reuters offers a news reader much like many other news agency. Their division of the news into categories and quick access to the news has made it a popular solution around the office to stay informed. They also make it easy to share the articles out to others via Twitter.
A update to the application was listed as “Performance enhancements”. We are not sure what those are, we weren’t seeing any speed or updating issues before. Something new that wasn’t mentioned though is the addition of ads. Hard to miss the lower corner link out to an advertiser. It does make us wonder how overwhelming the iAds feature in the 4.0 version of the OS from Apple will be. Let’s hope Apple has gotten it right, nothing worse than ads impacting the actual usage of apps.
