Found a fun Kickstarter project that is winding down, just a couple days left. The ‘MySaver’ cable is a iPad (and iPhone) USB cable with an extra protection area at both ends of the cable ends. The design is to make it easier to connect/disconnect. As well, to cut down on the wear and breaking of the wires inside the stock cable right at the connector.
They have spent time designing environmentally conscious packaging that while minimalist, it does the job.
Cables come in 5 colors and according to the folks doing the Kickstarter offering, the MySaver cables are less expensive now than they will be when they are on the store shelves.
