HalfTone… it’s the look the photos had in the newspapers (remember that big paper based news distribution method?). The app by the same name, HalfTone, has been handy for adding the effect to our images. All the features you would hope are available; adjust the background, the number and location of the text boxes, edit the text in the boxes and add stamps.
This update brings the ability to edit the actual photo in the HalfTone app before applying the HalfTone effect. Each of the enhancements can be adjusted for how much of the effect is applied. The capability is actually provided from the developers of HalfTone partnering with Aviary, a company that specializes in their photo enhancement package.
